Dance Day 2026: "Der Kurfürst tanzt mit"
Our Dance Day 2026 will be all about Dresden and dancing at noble weddings in the 17th century.
Sunday, April 12, 2024, in Erlangen
With our Dance Day, we want to complement our general meeting with a colorful and rewarding dance event. During the actual “Dance Day” in the afternoon starting at 2 p.m., non-members are also welcome to join in the dancing and have fun together on a cheerful afternoon.
Angela Rannow will give a lecture on dancing at aristocratic weddings at the Dresden court, followed by a workshop led by Nicolle Klinkberg featuring dances from that period. Finally, Birte Hoffmann-Cabenda will lead a series of convivial country dances to bring the day to a cheerful close.
