Our association is particularly committed to promoting research in the field of historical dance and dance history. The widest possible dissemination of this knowledge is also an important concern for us. Last but not least, we also want to improve and update the public image of historical dance.
In addition to carrying out a number of our own projects, we now also offer financial support for similar projects by other organizations.

Approval of funds:
The extended board of the association decides on the allocation of funds requested for project funding on the basis of the documents submitted, taking into account the relevance in relation to the statutory purposes, significance, financial scope, chances of realization and quality of implementation as well as the financial possibilities of the association.
As a rule, the Executive Board makes a decision within six weeks of the complete submission of the documents. If the budget is exhausted or an application clearly has no prospect of success, an application can be rejected immediately by an authorized member of the Executive Board.
Projects for which an application for funding is not submitted at least six weeks before the start date cannot be considered.
No funding will be granted for the ongoing operating and maintenance costs of a project.
When determining the amount of the funding, the recipient's own interest and performance will be taken into account. An own contribution of at least 20% is generally required. The maximum funding amount for a project is EUR 2000.
The funding is provided on a voluntary basis; there is no legal entitlement to funding from the association. An funding decision or rejection cannot be contested. A rejection does not have to be justified.
Disbursement:
The funding amount will be paid out by bank transfer after approval.
Documentation of use:
Upon completion of the project, the association must be provided with a final report summarizing the project result in terms of content, organization and financial aspects and documenting the appropriate use of the funding.
The association reserves the right to check the evidence by inspecting documents or having them checked by an authorized representative. The audit must also determine whether the intended purpose of the grant has been achieved.
If the audit reveals that the funding has not been used in accordance with the conditions of the approval notice, the grant may be reclaimed.
Note: Legally binding is the German version of the award guidelines.
