Abstract:
This paper begins with a brief history of the Grand March followed by reconstructions of figures used in the Grand March. These figures (generally only around five per march depending on the attention span of the dancers) can be combined into a larger choreography that the Master/Mistress of Ceremonies/Proctor has planned before the start of the ball.
