Workshop "Le Menuet Dauphin"

This year, we are once again able to present an exciting and unusual topic in our “tanz | perspektiven” workshop series. Hubert Hazebroucq, one of the best experts on this subject, will introduce us to the minuet from the second half of the 18th century. In addition to the choreography of the Menuet Dauphin, we will get to know the step forms and variations of this period and put them together to form a simple minuet in order to discover the essential stylistic developments of the late minuet.
The course will be held twice, once in Munich on July 5 - 6, 2025 and once in Hamburg on September 13 - 14, 2025. It is aimed at advanced amateur dancers and dance teachers who want to devote themselves intensively to the “Queen of Dances” in her late form. The language of instruction is German.
